CALLAWAY ERC SOFT GOLF BALL

HERE’S the newest product from Callaway Golf Company. Released in 2019, the company established by Ely Reeves launched Callaway ERC Soft Golf Ball on February 8, 2019.

Like the previous product, Soft Callaway 2018, ERC Callaway Soft Golf Ball is called soft ball with core made of graphene. This material is strong, flexible, and allows golfers to hit at high speed easily, it is also stiff enough to maintain energy in yielding speed for high ball with less rotation.

The cover is made of polybutadiene. This material is claimed by Callaway as having hybrid form with performance as in balls made of ionomer and urethane. Manufacturers usually use urethane for its premium products. As it is expensive, however, ionomers are usually found in cheaper balls.

Callaway ERC Soft Golf Ball, priced at $39.99, is in the mid-price market, so it is possible that both hybrid covers are in it to give better results. However, that does not mean the cover material is of an obstacle as the durability is just as good. Turning control for this kind of ball is pretty good, but it may not as sharp as the ball made of premium urethane like Chrome Soft 2018.

Callaway ERC Soft Golf Ball has the characteristics of three thick red lines flanked by two blue lines on both sides called “Triple Track Technology.” The function of this line is to give the golfer the best visual alignment pattern of the ball. For those who do not like the line, the ball is free to rotate to the other part. Callaway ERC Soft Golf Ball is available in two colors, yellow and white.
