Golf Course with Active LandMines

Located in Pan Mun Jom, the border between South and North Korea, Camp Bonifas can be said as a golf course with the highest level of danger due to many obstacles in the form of active landmines.

Therefore, it is common to see warning signs of “Danger, Never take the ball from an active landmine hole!” welcoming the visitors before entering this golf course. Located in a demilitarized zone, these active land mines surround the hole in a 175-meter-long golf course.

Initially, this golf course was made for a recreational facility for the 50 soldiers on duty. This field was named after Arthur Bonifas a captain from United States.
