The 2019 LotusLakes Open Golf Tournament (LLGOT) on Wednesday (1/4) was enlivened by 242 golfers from various nationalities: Indonesia as the host, Japan, Korea, China and India. They competed in three Courses of LotusLakes: Jasmine, Lotus and Orchid.
Golfer Cecep Ramandi won the best gross overall title. On the Jasmine–Lotus course, Mr.Tanaka Akira won the best gross, while Mr. Takahashi Masayuki won the Best Net. On the Lotus–Orchid course, the Best Gross was achieved by Mr. Nagasaka Hidemi and the Best Net was achieved by Mr. Yun Young Chun. On the final course, Orchid – Jasmine, Mr. Kim Young Hun won the Best Gross and Mr. Nagase Satoshi won the Best Net.
According to Cecep Ramandi, this tournament was not only strengthening brotherhood between members of LotusLakes golf Club, but it also a means to broaden the golfers’ experience and to hone their skills.
This tournament also gave a special prize for the Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin categories. In the Longest Drive category, Mr. Kim Jung Hwan became the best on the Jasmine course by hitting a 300 yard drive. On the Lotus course, Mr. Tanaka Akira hit a 266 yard drive. Meanwhile, Mr. Kotani hit a 248 yard drive on the Orchid course. In the Nearest to the Pin category, Mr. Endang Mahpudin was the best on the Jasmine course, Mr. Ishii Akihito on the Lotus course and Mr. Abdullah on the Orchid course.
The tournament sponsored by more than 27 companies provided various prizes such as Rp. 150,000,000 cash and 3 Baleno Suzuki Units for golfers who are able to hit a hole in one and a number of lucky draws. Mr. Thomas won the grand lucky draw in the form of Rp. 10,000,000 cash.
